Established by Robin Faccenda in 1962, our name hasn’t changed but our business has transformed since then. From a single chicken farm, we’ve grown to become one of the UK’s biggest food businesses, with a turnover of more than £550m and a team of over 3,600 highly talented people.
In addition to inward investment and organic growth we have also grown through acquisition. In 2012 we bought the turkey producer Cranberry Foods, and in 2015 added duck to our product range with the acquisition of Cherry Valley Foods: making us the only UK supplier of chicken, turkey and duck.
Yet we remain a family owned business, with a strong culture and values that has people at its heart.
